Our experienced instructors, all certified by the British Judo Association, bring a wealth of knowledge from both judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, enriching the learning experience for our members. We are passionate about fostering a community where adult athletes can thrive, learn, and excel in judo.
Coach:
Stealth Bolton Judo takes great pride in having Mel Voss as our head coach. A 4th degree black belt, Mel has been trained under the tutelage of Steve Pullen MBE, a renowned 7th Degree Coral Belt in judo.
Mel’s passion for judo extends beyond the mat – his dedication to teaching and mentoring adult athletes is evident in every class. He creates an environment where each judoka can develop their skills, build confidence, and strive for excellence.

Beginners Judo: Ideal for those new to the sport, focusing on fundamental techniques and etiquette.
Competitive Judo: For more advanced practitioners aiming to compete at regional and national levels, OR improve their gi takedowns in bjj.
Adult Judo: Catering to adults of all skill levels, with a balance of technique, fitness, and sparring.
